Job Title:             Junior-Mid Level T-SQL Developer

Location:             Remote

Salary:                 Up to £40,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a Junior-Mid Level T-SQL Developer to join our Business Intelligence (BI) and Database Administration (DBA) team. If you have a passion for database development, enjoy optimizing SQL queries, and want to be a part of a collaborative and innovative team, this role is perfect for you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Junior-Mid Level T-SQL Developer, your primary focus will be on writing and maintaining stored procedures using T-SQL and optimizing the performance of database indexes. You will work on existing systems within the organization, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

- Writing and maintaining efficient T-SQL stored procedures.

- Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks by tuning SQL queries and optimizing indexes.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.

- Contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of existing database systems.

- Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.

- Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.

 

Qualifications/Experience for the T-SQL Developer:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience in T-SQL development and database administration.

- Strong knowledge of T-SQL scripting and stored procedures.

- Experience with performance tuning, index optimization, and query optimization.

- Understanding of database design principles and best practices.

- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database management systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own location.

- The salary for this role is competitive and can go up to £40,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
