Role: Head of Architecture and Engineering
Location: Remote (required to be in the office in Central London 1 - 2 days a week)
Salary: £100,000 - £120,000
My client, a leading hospital group, with over 50 sites across the UK are looking to recruit a Head of Architecture and Engineering to be responsible for the Architecture within the business and lead their 5 engineering teams. They are about to embark on a multi million pound Digital Transformation Programme which will improve the quality of care they deliver. This is a critical role for the business which sits at the heart of the technology division and sits on the senior leadership division. The role is remote based but the successful candidate will be required to be in the office in central London 1-2 times a week.
Key skills/experience;- 10+ years architecture, engineering and leadership experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience - worked closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders up to C-level
- Strong communicator/high levels of emotional intelligence
- Experience of working in a large, multi-site organisation
- Previously shaped and lead the technical strategy, target architecture and implementation of architectural practices and standards
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to both business and technical audiences, including presenting analysis and recommendations up to board level.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes/methodologies
- Worked with technology suppliers and outsourcing companies, having experience in contract negotiations, performance management and driving supplier roadmaps.
- Lead teams of 30+ across multiple teams
- Although NHS/Healthcare experience is not essential for this position it is considered advantageous
