- Job Title: IT Manager (Hands-on)
Location: Brighouse/Halifax/Huddersfield
Salary: £45,000pa + benefits

Main purpose of the job
A hands-on IT manager position, providing technical support to clients in both a BAU and project capacity. You will take ownership on IT related tasks for the company, providing fixes to issues, being the solution for their IT needs.
Skills- Comfortable learning bespoke software and the way in which it integrates and able to have an input/ownership into the evolution of this
- Excellent ability to understand and empathise with client solutions and make accurate and pertinent recommendations
- Strong working knowledge of Virtualisation, Azure, 365 and other cloud based platforms
- Strong working knowledge of networking, inclusive of VLANs, routing
- Good knowledge of Backup systems and methodologies
- Good knowledge of Windows 10+
- Understanding of VOIP technologies
- Excellent appreciation of the importance of data security and ways in which it can be compromised/improved
- Proven ability to drive projects to completion and overcome obstacles
- Comfortable in client meetings acting as a technical resource for our account manager
- Strong Ability to manage and create budgets
- Able to make recommendations on our current service portfolio and recommend changes that make the companies offerings stronger and more resilient
- Strong ability to perform R&D into new technologies and able to present them in ways that can be leveraged to the company and our clients advantage
- Must have previous experience in the IT sector and a proven record of delivering high value solutions on time and on budget
- Must have a full UK driving license and have own transport
- Understanding of Wifi technology / physical networking advantageous – especially covering large physical environments
