- We are currently recruiting on behalf of our West Yorkshire based client for a UX/UI Designer to join their growing team after a very successful few years. This company offers the opportunity for progression and growth within and the potential to move in to more senior roles as the company continues to grow. Job Title: UX/UI Designer
Location: Brighouse
Salary: £25,000- 30,000
Purpose of the job: Work with the Senior Designer to improve the look, feel and functionality of the clients Portal.
Main duties/ tasks:- Understand existing working processes and identifying user ‘pain points’.
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements.
- Analysing existing sections within the portal and providing solutions by creating wireframes and high-fidelity mock ups in Adobe XD based upon our own design system.
- Work with the development team to identify potential gaps in UX and collaborate with the team to bridge those gaps and improve the overall user experience.
- Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and user research.
- Maintaining and improving the design system as it evolves.
- 1 - 3 years’ experience as a UI/UX Designer, or a recent graduate with industry or placement experience.
- Portfolio of work with an explanation of the role you played in each project
- Degree or equivalent in design or related discipline
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to confidently present work to team members and external departments.
- Adobe XD and Creative Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Competent graphic design skills.
