Role:          Data Analyst

Location:   Milton Keynes/Remote Based (50/50 Split)

Skills:         Data Analysis, Power BI, SQL, Excel, Stakeholder Management

Salary:        £40,000pa + Excellent Benefits

 

Fantastic role, for an experienced Data Analyst, to join an inspiring organisation as they look to grow their BI department. This is a brand new role within the business that will focus on a brand new data service that the company is providing to their industry. This role will give a passionate data professional the opportunity to shape how this area of the business analyses its data, by creating a data model, reports etc from scratch, by working with the stakeholders to understand the data services they provide and what will be of most use to them moving forward so they can provide the best data services to their area. 

Key responsibilities for the Data Analyst include:

  • Define new data collection and analysis processes for a new service
  • Build data controls
  • Collect data and analyse in order to produce reports
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements
Key experience required for the Data Analyst:

  • Strong experience as a Data Analyst
  • Technical skills with Power BI and SQL
  • Ability to interrogate, manipulate and report on data
  • Can identify risks in the movement and transformation of data
This is a new role within the team and this person will be a more senior data professional, who will be able to hit the ground running and work under their own supervision at times. You must be a strong communicator, and look to speak directly with stakeholders (where possible). The role will be a 50/50 split between being in the office (in Milton Keynes) and working from home.
