Location: Remote Based - Regular travel to sites in London and Reading
Duration: 2 year fixed term contract

An exciting opportunity is available for a data migration specialist to join a leading private healthcare provider. The data migration manager will be the lead for multiple migrations from current systems to new solutions selected by the business. They will be responsible for the strategic planning, preparation and execution of the data migrations, coordinating resources within the business to ensure requirements are met and delivered within the agreed timeline.
Key responsibilities for the data migration manager:- You will be responsible for the planning and designing of data migration activities
- Define data governance for the migration activities
- Coordinating data migration activities
- Stakeholder management with technical resources and programme managers
- Identity what data needs to be part of the migration
- Experience leading data migrations - including defining processes, understanding risks
- Strong data analysis skills
- Has led data migration activities, managing resources to deliver migration activities
- Ability to report on project progress
This role is a 2 year fixed term contract, which has a sole purpose to deliver the data migration to new systems being rolled out in the UK part of the organisation for the 1st time. You will focus on 3 main sites initially, before rolling the systems out to all other sites within the UK. You will be passionate about the safety and security of data, due to the nature of the business.
