Role:          Lead Implementation Manager

Location:   Field based with regular travel to customer sites and head office

Skills:         Software Implementation, People Management, Project Management

Salary:       £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus, car allowance, pension

 

Role Summary:

A great opportunity to join a leading software provider and take the reigns of the implementation team. The Implementation Manager will manage a team of implementation consultants and project managers, ensuring the team delivers solutions to the end customers, following best practices in the entire implementation lifecycle. Further responsibilities for the Implementation Manager will include reporting on project progress and taking ownership of your teams personal development plans.

 

Core responsibilities for the Implementation Manager:

  • Lead a team of implementation professionals to deliver solutions to customers in an efficient and timely manner
  • Develop and implement business improvement processes for implementations
  • Attend meetings with current and potential customers, playing a role in the pre-sales lifecycle
  • Act as a point of escalation internally and externally for any issues arising throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Work closely with the sales team to produce presentations for customers regarding solutions the business can provide
  • Manage the workload of the team, in order to meet SLA's and accurately predict time-scales for the delivery of solutions
Required skills for the Implementation Manager:

  • Previous experience in delivering software solutions to customers
  • Proven leadership skills, managing a team of consultants/project managers
  • Delivery focused
  • Experienced in influencing at senior stakeholder level with decision makers and directors
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Experienced at working with sales teams in order to pitch appropriate solutions to current and potential customers
This opportunity offers someone a great chance to continue building, and improving, the implementation team. You will have a major say in the strategy of the team moving forward and look at improving existing processes. The role is suited to someone who still enjoys the customer interaction, as they will still have a major role dealing with new and existing customers.
