Role: Senior Project Manager
Location: Remote based with regular travel
Skills: Project Management, SDLC, Workforce Management Software (WMS),
Duration: 2 year fixed term contract
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000pa + benefits
An opportunity for a senior project manager to come on board and play a major role in my client's move to decommission current workforce management systems and review the market to analyse, review and select a new system for all workforce management (WMS). The person will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the system, from the selection, to project planning, leading activities and reporting on project progress.
You will have previous experience of leading a workforce management system (WMS) implementation, including going through the vendor selection process, with budget management responsibilities.
Key responsibilities for the senior project manager include:- To deliver key projects in line with budget and timelines - Specific focus on the sourcing and implementation of a new WMS
- Create and document project plans, assigning project activities and reporting on project progress
- To manage proposed changes during projects, using change management processes
- Working closely with stakeholders at all levels - both internal and external
- Matrix management of project resources
- Previous experience leading large projects - in particular a WMS implementation
- Strong experience dealing with stakeholders up to board level
- Has been through vendor selection process
- Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- NHS or private healthcare experience - desirable
