User Experience Specialist

Location:

Office based in Manchester.

About us:

Our client is a market-leading provider of online and face-to-face training for adults and young people across across the UK.

They are a provider of preventative training to young people on subjects such as gangs, knife crime, suicide, and multiple life skills. 

Their ethos is to try to help and make a difference to as many young people as possible across the country and believe this starts with education and training.

Role overview:

We are looking for someone who can communicate exceptionally well, solve creative problems and inspire everyone around them with their creative enthusiasm.

Required Skills & Experience:

High quality portfolio of user-centric design (UX, UI, app and responsive websites)

  • Strong understanding of design principles and fundamentals
  • Technically strong with creative suites (XD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & Figma)
  • Passion for typography, grid-based layout, colour theory and typesetting principles
Role Responsibilities:

  • Take design briefs internally considering the commercials objective, brand guidelines and creative vision of the client organisation
  • Create and present audience assessments, wireframing, prototype and user workflows for client consideration and feedback
  • Create and present mood boards and style options for client consideration and feedback
  • Create and present web, mobile, product, theme templates for client consideration and feedback
  • Working with other teams to ensure that all campaigns and initiatives visually complement the client’s brand and remain consistent throughout
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team on creating proposal and tender responses to assist new business efforts
