Project Manager
Are you an enthusiastic Project Manager who loves to be involved in Business Change projects? If the answer is yes, then this is the role for you. My client, a leading financial services organisation, is recruiting for a Project Manager to be part of their newly formed Business and Change Management function, to play an integral part in its future success. The department is tasked with delivering a number of change initiatives across the entire business, working with various departments to understand the needs, plan and prioritise change.
As one of the Project Managers in the Business Change team you will be responsible for project delivery across a range of initiatives, engaging with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure projects land successfully.
Responsibilities- Manage and deliver multiple business change projects
- Create project plans, manage project resources and activities
- Guide and facilitate stakeholders, including external third parties, to ensure projects are completed to time and budget constraints.
- Track actions, deliverables and report on project progress to stakeholders and Senior Management.
The ideal Project Manager will have an excellent knowledge of project delivery as well as the right balance of business understanding, stakeholder management and relationship building skills. More specifically you will have –- Prince 2 certification or PMP
- Have previous experience delivering projects in a financial services company
- Strong business change experience
- Ability to work across mutliple departments in order to deliver change that will benefit the business
- Experience of working with project resources, managing activities across the projects
- Experienced at reporting on project status and assessing risk across the projects
