About the Opportunity
Fantastic opportunity for a Development Lead to join an innovative team of developers and QA professionals, for a leading software provider, who pride themselves on delivering an excellent service to their customers, by developing robust and innovative solutions. The Development Lead will come from a software background, in Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Database Development, with a passion for technology and the desire to play a major role in the development of solutions into the Cloud for customers.
You will play a lead role, helping develop a team of developers and QA professionals, providing mentorship and career development opportunities, whilst also growing your own skills and abilities across technology and leadership, in an environment that welcomes continuous improvement across product, process, and quality development.
Other Key Responsibilities for the Software Development Lead include:- Be the technical SME on SDLC for enterprise customers
- Design, develop and execute a cloud roadmap for customers.
- Provide guidance on new technical customizations, functionality, and modules.
- Support the development of web applications, enterprise applications, mobile applications, and web services.
- Partner with Business Analysts to understand requirements and provide optimal technical solution(s) to fulfill customer requirements.
- Implement agile methodology for all major development work projects.
- A minimum of 5 years development experience in an Oracle Fusion Middleware (Oracle Forms and Reports) and Oracle database development environment
- Experience in high scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation (preferably Oracle).
- Experienced at leading development teams in charge of delivering solutions to customers
- Knowledge of web and mobile application development – JavaScript, jQuery, Angular and HTML/CSS
