Role:        Digital Project Manager

Location: Birmingham/Remote Based - 2-3 days a week from home

An exciting position is available working for a global organisation, who are recruiting for a Digital Project Manager to be part of the Systems and Development team. This role reports to the Operations Lead, and is responsible for:

  • Management of multiple web development and platform projects to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and commercial success
  • Facilitating the management of the portfolio of projects, including identifying dependencies between projects, particularly in respect of resources, and the reporting of programme level issues and risks
  • Strong client facing skillset and expert stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, effective communication with clients and stakeholders, supporting the Operations Lead by operating as a key liaison between the client and the development team.
  • Preparing system requirements documentation.
  • Responsible for drawing up project plans and governance.
  • Project activity tracking and coordination of development staff.
The Project Manager will have the following experience:

  • 4+ years project management experience
  • Strong experience delivering digital projects to clients
  • Ability to understand and document requirements
  • Scrum Master skillset and experience working in an Agile environment
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Worked in product focused environments
This role requires a Project Manager who has some business analysis skills, can deal with challenging stakeholders onshore and offshore. You will need to be highly motivated, determined and have the ability to work across different timezones effectively.
