Role:            Head of Product/Senior Product Manage

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to come on-board and lead the product development team for a market leading SaaS provider. The role will support the business in the design, development and delivery of new functionality within their current platform, and looking into new product ideas for the business. The Senior Product Manager will liaise with multiple stakeholder groups, with complex needs, to design and prioritise requirements that can be handed off to the development team for delivery. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for ensuring that the solution delivered meets the client requirement and that appropriate supporting documentation is available to support the release of new functionality.

Key responsibilities for the Head of Product/Senior Product Manager include:

  • Working closely with different areas of the business and members of the senior management team to understand strategic business objectives and ensure that they are reflected within the product roadmap.
  • Engaging with clients, partners and the broader market. Monitoring competitor activity to ensure the company remains a market leader in their product offerings
  • Support the entire product lifecycle; from strategic product planning, through to detailed requirement gathering, solution design, development and release management.
  • Define and document product requirements and criteria, translating and balancing the needs of stakeholders with conflicting priorities. 
  • Liaise with the Solution Architect and development teams to answer detailed product questions that arise during the development of new functionality.
  • Line management of the product department
Key experience required for the Head of Product/Senior Product Manager:

  • Strong experience as a Senior Product Manager, delivering SaaS solutions 
  • Experienced at leading the design and development of new product functionality 
  • Proven experience managing a product development team
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering change and managing conflicting stakeholder interests.
  • Demonstrable experience of documenting and delivering complex requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced Agile (DSDM & Scrum) environment.
  • Proven experience of product design, business analysis and business requirements capture techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams
 

Desirable Experience/Skills Required:

  • Understanding of the employee engagement industry
  • Experience of User Experience and User Interface design
This exciting role, is ideal for a self-starter, who is innovative, a proven leader and has a a passion for product management. You will have the ability to deliver change in an Agile/Scrum environment, and bring fresh ideas to the table in order to keep the company as a market leader in their product offerings. 

The role is initially a remote based position but will be predominantly office based, once it is deemed safe to do so, with 1-2 days a week from home.
