With nearly 10 years of experience within the recruitment industry, starting out as a resourcer and progressing to a 360 consultant.
Michael has gradually moved further North, starting out near Birmingham, before heading to Sheffield and settling down for the long term in Halifax.
Over the last decade, Michael has worked for small independent agencies as well as large corporate organisations, using experiences gained from both environments to find a style that works for him.
This has enabled Michael to build long lasting relationships with a number of businesses who continue to work with him today.
Favourite thing about recruitment: Finding out what motivates individuals to succeed in business and doing all I can to make this a reality.
Least favourite thing about recruitment: The negative perception of the public towards the recruitment industry, although I like to challenge and change this reputation.
Outside of work: Married, Daddy to a little girl born on Christmas Eve 2019, distinctly average batsman for my local cricket club, keen supporter of my hometown football club Nuneaton Borough and drinking Guinness at live music gigs.

James Symonds

James has progressed into a Customer Success Manager, working closely with our key accounts to deliver candidates for their roles, and helping our candidates find the right opportunity.
