- Lead Data Architect - Azure
A Lead Data Architect is required for an exciting greenfield Azure data platform programme to replace a legacy data system and propel our clients data ecosystem to new heights.
This role isn't just about managing data; it's about revolutionising how my client unlock insights, drive innovation, and make data-driven decisions that shape their success.
The successful candidate will have experience across:
Strategic planning and management of vendors and third parties- Manage Microsoft partners throughout the integration
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data platform strategy aligned with the organisation's business goals and objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend data services and technologies to optimise data infrastructure.
Data Platform Architecture:- Oversee the implementation of scalable and high-performance data platform built on Microsoft Azure.
- Ensure data platform solutions are reliable, secure, and compliant with data regulations.
- Data models follow best practices such as Kimball Data Warehouse and we have a single version of the truth.
Data Integration and ETL:- Manage data integration pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformation workflows.
- Implement best practices for data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation.
Data Governance and security
Team management: lead a small team of 3
