Job Title: Product Owner

Location: Shipley (1 day a week)

Salary:     £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

My client, a leading innovator in the software industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join their passionate team. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of features and new functionality in their products. If you have a proven track record in product ownership, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of Agile methodologies, they want to hear from you.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Overall Accountability: You will have the ultimate responsibility for the development of features and new functionality in all products.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Requirements Team and stakeholders to ensure development teams create features that deliver the highest value.
  • Customer Focus: Understand customers and potential customers as well as the broader industry to positively influence customers and steer product requirement discussions for mutual benefit.
  • Influence: Possess the skills to positively influence customers and steer product requirement discussions for the mutual benefit ofthe organisation and the customer.
Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year’s commercial experience working in a Product Owner role.
  • Teamwork: Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to convey ideas effectively and facilitate productive discussions.
  • Methodologies: Understanding of software Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, will be a significant advantage.
