SaaS Business Development Manager (DACH)


Location: Remote based

The role


New business sales professional responsible for relationship management, proposal writing, pitching and managing the sales process of Software products within the DACH territory. The successful candidate will have experience selling SaaS solutions into the DACH region and will be fluent in English and German.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy for the region in alignment with the company's goals and objectives
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by researching and analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Building and managing strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and industry associations
  • Developing and presenting proposals to prospective customers, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, project management, and operations, to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services.
  • Monitoring and reporting on business performance metrics and making recommendations for improvement
  • Providing exemplary customer service and addressing any issues or concerns
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of sales and account activity in a CRM system
 

Ideal candidate:

  • 2+ years selling SaaS applications in the DACH region
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deals at the same time
  • Experience with CRM software and data analysis
