Customer Account Manager
Do you love interacting with people, helping them make a difference and providing an excellent service? If the answer is yes then apply for this role. My client is looking for someone to come on board as a Customer Account Manager responsible for dealing with customers from the education sector, and suppliers, to manage orders for school trusts and help with projects.
The Customer Account Manager will:- Proactively deal with queries from school trusts, being their contact for all their needs
- Building relationships with suppliers, understanding their specialisms in order to appropriately choose the best supplier/suppliers for customer requirements
- Helping customers to make decisions, when they need it and to specify and develop their buying requirements documentation (taking account of potential impacts on other areas of the school’s/Trust’s operational environment)
- Making sure the process from an initial query to contract delivery is quick and efficient
- Preparing and sending customer and supplier contracts
- Acting as a liaison between the customer, the supplier and internal teams to resolve any issues with the procurement process, contract paperwork, delivery or implementation
- Managing projects from order to final completion
Key experience required for the Customer Account Manager:- Experienced at dealing with customers, understanding their needs
- Procurement experience/knowledge
- Building relationships with customers and suppliers
- Ability to manage your workload
- Experience working in the education sector and/or public/not-for profit sector
- CIPS certified - Desirable
