Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £500 - £600per day

Role
A great opportunity for a Data Migration professional to come on board and help lead the business in migrating data from various legacy systems into the cloud. You will be responsible for managing the data delivery for a number of projects, helping the business make decisions on the best tools to use, as well as putting in place a strategy for future migrations and resources required .
Key areas of responsibility for the Data Migration Lead include:- Responsible for planning and executing data migration tasks
- Taking ownership of the data migration strategy and being the lead for all things data related
- Look at best practices in data migration - methods and processes
- Support other IT teams in the business with data requirements
- Look into suitable tools for the business to use
- Produce required status reports, determine and manage risks, issues and actions
Key experience required for the Data Migration Lead:- Experienced at being hands-on in delivering the data migrations
- Leadership skills - able to lead a team
- Experienced at delivering data migration strategies
- Experienced at leading a workstream and being part of an integrated programme and project delivery organisation
- Microsoft project experience a plus
- Experienced at delivering data migrations from on-prem to the cloud.
This role is a remote based position, with occasional travel to Milton Keynes.
