Cloud FinOps Lead / Practitioner

Role:              Cloud FinOps Lead / Practitioner 

Type:              Contract

Rate:               £700 to £750 per day (outside IR35)

Duration:        6 months

Location:       Remote (occasional required to be in the office in Northampton)

 

My client, a leading financial services company are looking to recruit a Cloud FinOps Lead on an initial 6 month contract to act as a trusted connection between Finance and IT and help to  deliver and embed a consistent approach to effectively managing their resources within the cloud.

 

Key Knowledge & Experience;

  • Demonstrable experience within a Cloud FinOps/Cloud spend role within a large professional environment.
  • Strong understanding of public cloud players (e.g., Azure), their product portfolio and commercial models.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Azure cloud services and billing semantics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and regulations
  • Understanding of the key drivers, concepts, and language that Finance, Procurement, Service Management and/or Technology teams use day-to- day.
  • Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Azure Fundamentals/Azure Fin Ops foundational certifications (preferred)
