- Role: Infrastructure/System Engineer
Location: Remote Based - Client is in West Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000pa + Benefits

Great opportunity for a Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to join an innovative software provider, to support and manage their Linux servers across the cloud platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the business systems, reporting directly to the CTO, so must be able to hit the ground running in a standalone role. The Infrastructure/System Engineer will be able to demonstrate strong system skills, ensuring they're fit for purpose, monitoring performance, space and dealing with any system issues that arise. Other responsibilities for the Engineer will include setting up new servers in the cloud, installation and scripting to live environments.
Some of the key duties for the Infrastructure/System Engineer:- Management of Linux Servers - including installation of new servers
- Assisting the DBA function and management of databases
- Monitoring of infrastructure and ensuring 24/7 availability for the business
- Scripting and the release of scripts into live environments
- Experience in the support, management and release of new servers
- Linux background - Centos
- Experience with Oracle databases and the support of the databases
- Scripting experience
- Infrastructure background, monitoring performance and availability
- Troubleshooting skills - System and Server errors
