Infrastructure Technical Lead

Role:            Infrastructure Technical Lead
Location:     Milton Keynes (Hybrid working) 

Salary:         £50,000 to £55,000
My client, a leading leisure and entertainment company, are looking to recruit an infrastructure technical lead to deliver technical infrastructure focused projects. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the infrastructure and core application but your primary focus will be project delivery. The role will be based on site in Milton Keynes for the intial 6 months of employment whilst you get up to speed and then a hybrid working model will be allowed. There will also be the requirement to travel to sites across the UK once or twice a month. 

Key skills/experience; 

  • Minimum of 7 years IT experience.
  • Experience in Project Delivery – Rollouts & Upgrades and implementation of change.
  • Microsoft Server 2012R2/2016/2019 Administration, Configuration and Support experience.
  • Microsoft 365 Applications.
  • Azure/Cloud adoption experience.
  • VMware/Hyper-V/Veeam.
  • Solid competence with Networks including Meraki, DrayTek, Fortinet, HP, LAN, WAN, Routers and Switches.
  • Cloud-Based Telephony System Administration.
  • Good understanding of Cyber Security Processes and Threat Protection.
  • Prince 2 or other Project Management certification would be advantageous
