Location: Remote Based - travel to sites will be required
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000pa + benefits

Great opportunity for a senior network professional to join a leading private healthcare provider in a network lead capacity. This is a hands-on role, with the network professional being able to assist in the provision of networking services across multiple sites in the UK (over 50), and 10,000+ users taking ownership of all network related incidents.
The network professional will lead the network team, remaining hands-on as a point of escalation and taking the technical lead on network projects.
You will require a strong set of technical skills across networking technologies, LAN/WAN, switching, routing and firewalls amongst others, and you will ideally be Cisco certified (although not essential.
Key skills and responsibilities required for the network lead:
- Oversee the network environments across 50+ sites in the UK, 10,000+ users – ensuring availability and reliability of the systems
- Implementation of the IT networks estate
- Ownership of all network related incidents
- Lead the network team
- Strong skills in network technologies – LAN/WAN, Switching and routing, firewalls and VPN
- Cisco experience
- Cloud technology experience
This is a permanent role leading a small networking team. You will still be hands-on in this role and enjoy the mix of leadership and technical responsibilities in a role. You will be remote based, but will be expected to travel to sites when required, especially for project work.
