Role:                     Infrastructure Project Manager

Location:               Hybrid - Remote/Northampton

IR35 Status:         Outside IR35

Rate:                    £550 - £650per day

2 infrastructure project managers are required to join my financial services client, working on the cloud migration programme, as the business moves from on-prem applications to MS Azure Cloud. The infrastructure project manager will take responsibility for project activities for the cloud migration across all on-prem applications, ensuring projects are delivered in time and within budget. 

 

Key responsibilities for the infrastructure project manager:

  • Accountable for the delivery of cloud migration for on-prem applications to the cloud - MS Azure
  • Full project management responsibility from planning, managing project resources and reporting on the status of the deliverables to senior management
  • Dealing with 3rd parties to ensure that dependencies are aligned between them and the infrastructure delivery team
Key experience required for the infrastructure project manager:

  • Strong experience delivering infrastructure projects in a financial services environment
  • Experience of cloud migration projects, ideally MS Azure cloud technology
  • Ability to lead project teams and meet objectives within time and budget
  • Technical understanding and/or hands on experience in infrastructure projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - including dealing with 3rd parties
 

This is an initial 6 month contract with a strong chance of extension beyond the initial period. Candidates will be expected to attend the office in Northampton when required.
