Junior Information Security Analyst
Role: Junior Information Security Analyst
Location: Northampton - Remote working the majority of the time
Salary: £25,000 - £31.000
My client, a leading financial services organisation, are looking to recruit a Junior Information Security Analyst to undertake a range of tasks supporting iPSL’s key business objectives as directed within the Information Security environment. This role will suit someone who has worked in one of the following capacites for 6 to 12 months and is looking to take the next step in their career; Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst, Information Security analyst, Third Party Analyst, Controls Assurance analyst. Required Skills and Experience:- Experience of working in Information security in a relevant role, e.g Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst, Information Security analyst, Third Party Analyst, Controls Assurance analyst
- Experience in threat & vulnerability assessments
- Confident and able to build good working relationships with direct team and internal customers
- Commitment to deliver and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Effectively prioritises tasks to ensure delivery meets time critical deadlines
- General understanding of IT Security principles, standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS and GDPR
- Has basic knowledge across a broad spectrum of information security areas such as network, operating system and logical access management.
- Security+ or equivalent knowledge
- SSCP, CISMP or equivalent qualification - advantageou
