Location: Remote Based
Salary: £45,000 - £75,000pa + benefits

The Role
Exciting opportunity for a Front End Developer Specialist to work across a number of projects and solutions to our global customer market. Working across Scrum teams, the Front End Developer will play a major part in the improvements to core platform infrastructure. You will drive adoption of best-in-class tools, open-source frameworks, etc. and will work with Product Managers to develop frameworks that ensure the customer/user journeys are simple, predictable, and consistent.
What you’ll be doing:- Standardisation of the tools & frameworks used in our software product delivery.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders – Product Managers, API & Backend Development team, UI designers.
- Conducting and reviewing key design reviews (against principles and standards) and leads remediation as appropriate.
- Good eye for optimisation and Improve performance
- Using new and innovative technologies to create effective, elegant, and scalable solutions
- Hands on React experience and able to work with redux and react sagas
- Strong functional programming skills & expertise in JavaScript; specifically, ES6
- Hand-on with Typescript & Node JS development.
- Exposure to package managers like NPM or Yarn, task runner like Gulp and module loader/bundler like web-pack.
- Experience of coaching and mentoring other developers.
- Experience in TDD with Understanding of design patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving with the mental acuity to solve end-to-end problems.
- Comfortable working autonomously and has previously demonstrated a strong level of comfort in driving projects forward but is equally a team player.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
