Role: Cyber Security Manager
Location: Northampton
Salary: £60,000-£70,000pa + Car Allowance, Pension and Private Healthcare

Purpose of the Role: A great opportunity for a Cyber Security professional to join my client as their SME for Cyber Secuirty and to lead the Cyber Security team. You will be expected to perform technical consultancy services for the business across all Information Security matters and ensure the team are able to deliver front-line defences against Cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities include:- Leading the Cyber Security team in the delivery of front-line cyber security defences for the business.
- Manage the budget for the Cyber Security department.
- Leading the team and developing the team's skillset.
- Responsible for identifying, monitoring and managing Cyber threats to the business.
- Responsible for the management and delivery of Cyber Secuirty projects, including governance, risk and compliance.
- Provide consultancy advice to the business on Cyber matters to ensure continued safety of the businesses systems.
Key experience required
- Experience leading an Cyber/Information Security team and/or department
- Strong understanding of Cyber technologies
- Delivered front-line cyber defence for an organisation
- Has provided consultancy/advice to businesses on Cyber Security
- Been involved in implementing ISO standards - ISO 27001
- Certification in Cyber Security - CISMP, CISM or CISA (Highly desirable)
The Cyber Security Manager will be a natural leader, who is assertive, can communicate effectively with their team, and the business. They will be able to demonstrate strong business acumen, and be proactive in the continued improvement of the Cyber Security function. You will have a passion for all things Cyber related, from operations to GRC tasks.
