Role: Principal Front End Developer
Location: Remote Based

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000pa + Bonus
Job Summary:
Fantastic opportunity to join a global publishing organisation as a Principal Front End Developer, taking the technical lead of the front end team to execute the strategic vision of the Engineering Manager and CTO. You will be working in a team environment to improve the core front end platform for the companies publishing solutions/services to a global market.
What you’ll be doing:- Leading the Engineering team technically, with full accountability of delivery, starting from technical ideation / design to implementation and rollouts.
- Standardisation of the tools & frameworks used in our software product delivery.
- Conducting and reviewing key design reviews (against principles and standards) and leads remediation as appropriate.
- Good eye for optimisation and Improve performance
- Using new and innovative technologies to create effective, elegant, and scalable solutions
- Minimum 5 years of hands on React experience and able to work with redux and react sagas
- Strong functional programming skills & expertise in JavaScript; specifically, ES6
- Hand-on with Typescript & Node JS development.
- Exposure to package managers like NPM or Yarn, task runner like Gulp and module loader/bundler like web-pack.
- Experience in TDD with Understanding of design patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving with the mental acuity to solve end-to-end problems.
This is a remote based role, with very little need to travel to the office, or customer site. This is a perfect position for someone who loves to be hands-on with the technology, working with other developers and being the lead for technical issues that arise.
