Role: Contract Cloud Architect - inside IR35
Location: Northampton - hybrid working
Rate: £625/day - inside IR35
Duration: 6 Months
My client, a leading financial services provider, require a Cloud Architect to work with the existing Architect team to provide hands on and forward-thinking cloud delivery and adoption. The successful candidate will deliver migration to a Cloud platform inclusive of designing and transferring applications to the Cloud.
Key Skills/Experience;- Experience designing, integrating and managing infrastructure solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of designing, developing and implementing enterprise networks.
- Strong knowledge of network architectures and virtualisation technologies.
- 5+ years experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions.
- Have a strong background in a public cloud environment, migrations and development, and familiarility with Azure and have experience in setting up managed services.
- Have experience in the design and delivery of systems based on Azure Iaas, PaaS and SaaS offerings, as well as exposure to different architecture models such as all-in and hybrid.
- Experience with common network components (e.g. DNS, routing, firewalls) and IT security and design patterns for cloud architects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audience.
- Microsoft Azure Certificated AZ-900, AZ-303 and AZ-304.
- Architecture Certification (TOGAF).
