Role: Pre-Sales Solution Engineer
Location: Remote based - 1-2 times a quarter in one of the offices for team meet-ups!

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Bonus
My client, a global provider of SaaS solutions are looking for Solutions Engineer to be part of the pre-sales function, providing expert support to their customers in making the most of their suite of products and solutions as they integrate them within their wider technical systems.
You will be a solutions expert, working closely with the sales function to understand client requirements and design fit for purpose solutions, as well as being part of the initial pre-sales process, conducting product demos from a given brief.
What you will be doing
Roles and responsibilities include- Working with the sales function to define client requirements and design innovative learning solutions
- Configuring and running custom demonstrations of products with customers
- Playing a hands-on role in the configuration of products during the implementation phase
- Facilitating requirements definition and solution design workshops with customers in support of both pre-sales and delivery activity to ensure our solutions meet customer requirements and are delivered to a high standard
- Engaging appropriate stakeholders in defining and managing customer requirements.
- Enabling our customers to successfully use, and get the best value from, our products
- Staying up to speed with, and sharing knowledge of, developments in technology and the markets we operate in.
- Proactively contributing to our product strategies and roadmaps
Who we are looking for
This role demands a candidate with solid technical understanding, with strong experience in SaaS environment, and excellent communication skills in a customer-facing environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:- Strong technical experience in a solutions/product environment
- Previous experience configuring and administering SaaS solutions
- Someone with the ability to understand client requirements and design solutions fit for purpose
- You will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a confident presentation style
- You will have the tenacity to solve problems and issues experienced by customers
