- Description
- We are looking to recruit an IT Network Manager for our West Yorkshire based client, to manage the day to day operation, maintenance and use of their computer networks infrastructure, hardware and software.
The role is primarily technical, requiring server, network and desktop knowledge and experience.
The successful candidate would be expected to have a positive attitude, an analytical mindset, and be able to provide network maintenance to 1100 PC's and 600 mobile devices, with the support of 4 other IT Support staff.
Duties and responsibilities would include:
- Manage the day to day operation, fault finding, maintenance and use of the computer networks software, hardware and infrastructure.
- To oversee the IT network (LAN, WAN and Wireless) and ensure the functionality, maintenance, safety and security.
- To supervise the IT team where appropriate.
- To plan and advise on the purchase and deployment of equipment.
- To ensure the network and associated equipment works at optimum speed and performance level.
- To lead on cyber security to ensure the network and data is secure.
Experience of leading a team previously is vital for this position.
