Technical Project Delivery Manager
Role: Technical Delivery Manager
Type: 6 Month Contract
Rate: £450 - £500per day
Location: Northampton 2-3 days a week
An initial 6 month contract is available for an experienced software project manager to support the delivery of complex technical change across the business. This role is working in the financial services industry, and requires experience of both Agile and Waterfall methodology experience, along with experience of working the full software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for multiple projects, from taking the requirements, to planning the project, attaining project resources and managing project activities for the team, to reporting on project progress before/during/and after delivery.
Key skills/experience
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience working as an IT Technical Delivery Manager
• Experience working in a regulated environment i.e. banking or financial services
• In depth professional experience of managing end-to-end delivery of technical projects to time, cost and scope
• Exposure to working in software development environment or similar
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with proven ability to converse with all levels of stakeholders and influence others to be accountable for project activities and understand the bigger picture
The role will require the person to be based in the office a minimum of 2 days a week, and there be occasional travel required to other locations also.
