Job title:  CRM Developer   

Reporting to:  Team Leader

Location: Brighouse, West Yorkshire

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

Hours of work: Monday – Friday between 8.00am and 5.30pm. The requirement is that you work 7.5 hours per day between these times with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes. Total hours 37.5 per week.

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

Main Purpose of the job

Carry out work on new and existing applications, predominantly for the Legal sector, including development in MS Dynamics CRM, web applications, windows services as well as working on greenfield projects when required.

 
Key tasks and Responsibilities

  • Take part in deployment of applications as well as supporting any product that Fusion has developed, directly liaising with the client or by assisting our in-house support team
  • To take ownership of work allocated as part of a given sprint and to support the team in achieving the sprint goal
  • To document their work, including design documentation, testing logs and time recording
  • Be involved in external communication involving clients. This may involve emails, telephone calls or site visits. The job holder is expected to treat all communication with clients professionally; this extends to wearing appropriate attire for site visits
  • Support all products that Fusion has developed. This includes directly liaising with the client or by assisting our in house support team. In addition, the job holder will also need to assist the support team in resolving issues with their web based products
  • Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new infrastructure, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces
  • Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance
  • Design, develop and implement web based solutions
  • Support our developed products, either directly with the client or by assisting our support team
  • Produce and maintain documentation
  • Assess client requirements, either based off a provided specification or by liaising with the client
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with the client
  • Work as part of a team on large projects
  • Manage your own projects
Skills

  • Preference for experience in MS Dynamics CRM or MS Power
  • Commercial experience in .Net, C#, SQL, Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Vue.js
  • Comfortable in utilising or picking up technologies and where appropriate making suggestions based on personal knowledge or experience
  • Work to 'Agile' development methods; therefore, you must possess excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Methodical and analytical mind
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and desire to probe further when required
Tech & Tools you will be working with

MS Dynamics CRM

  • .Net / C#, SQL, HTML / JavaScript / CSS, ASP.NET / MVC
  • Strong experience developing RESTful services and good understanding of the principles (WebApi, http protocol, authorisation, OWIN, dependency injection)

  • HangFire, RabbitMQ, and ElasticSearch
  • Octopus Deploy
  • VueJs
To be successful in this role, you will need a good amount of knowledge of programming languages and the software development life-cycle. A Bachelor's degree in development/computer science and 2+ years experience is preferred.
