A great opportunity are available to join a growing IT department as part of their business intelligence function. Reporting to Head of Technology, the BI Developer will be responsible for the delivery of innovative solutions to the business, working in an agile environment. Business Intelligence is at the heart of the company and the BI Developer will play an integral part in helping the business grow.
The BI Developer will have a passion for data, and understand the importance of data to help enhance a company. You will have a good understanding of SQL databases, as well as knowledge of reporting tools and their capabilities in order to assist the BI team with the creation, and maintenance of a BI suite.
Core Duties for the BI Developer include:- Working with the BI team to develop BI solutions to meet the business’s requirements.
- Provide feedback and advice regarding the existing data estate.
- Maintain a robust and efficient data estate to provide a streamlined BI function.
- Assist the software development team with database development.
- Assist with data analysis requirements raised by the business.
- Experience in a BI or Data Analyst position
- SQL database skills
- BI reporting tool knowledge
- Previous experience delivering BI solutions in-house
