Duration: 12 month fixed term

Salary: £30,000pa + Travel
My client requires 3 IT Field Support Engineers on an initial fixed term basis to provide desktop support across multiple sites in a face-to-face and remote environment. You will be troubleshooting issues reported by end users, in order to understand the problem and provide fixes in a timely manner.
The Support Engineers will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as having worked in a 2nd line support capacity previously across multiple sites and an end user base of 10,000+ people ideally.
Key responsibilities include:- Undertake typical break fix and support activities on all end user related infrastructure, both on-site and remotely, as required including general maintenance and system upgrades
- Ensure that issues are logged, reported and fixed - meeting set SLA's
- Out of hours support where necessary
- Support the delivery of major projects and change programmes
- Travelling to sites when required
- Sufficiently support the Service Desk to ensure that SLAs are met
- A minimum of 3 years experience supporting end users, in a face-to-face and remote environment
- Desktop support experience to 2nd and/or 3rd line level
- Experienced with technologies such as
- Windows
- MS Office
- Active Directory
- Virtualisation - VMware/HyperV
- LAN/WAN
- Experienced supporting users across multiple sites
