Location: Remote based - Candidates must be willing to travel to Northampton when required (frequency will vary)
Purpose of the Role:
A great role for an infrastructure focused Project Manager to deliver infrastructure projects across the business, inline with deadlines and budgets. The Infrastructure Project Manager will lead project activities across project teams, delivering small, medium and large scale infrastructure/network projects, with a particular focus on network and platform changes. You will manage the full project lifecycle, work with internal and external stakeholders and deliver progress reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Overall accountability for the delivery of multiple projects assigned
• Full project planning, and allocating resources across multiple projects
• Understand the technical detail of the project, communicating to technical resources in order to co-
ordinate technology groups to deliver specified requirements.
• Building strong relationships across cross-functional teams is key, as is the ability to influence and
communicate the programme’s vision, ultimately achieving buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Matrix Management of Project Teams including the co-ordination of activities with Clients and other 3rd
parties.
• Creation and maintenance of relevant project documentation based on business requirements / planned
programme activity.
• Responsible for developing and agreeing project scope with stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• 5 years project management experience, delivering infrastructure projects
• Strong Leadership skills
• Financial Services experience
• Stakeholder management - managing internal and external stakeholders
• Must have a solid technical background, with understanding or hands on experience in Infrastructure
projects.
• An understanding of the security requirements for an FCA regulated environment.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who can manage their own, and the project teams time effectively. They will have a delivery mind-set and be able to communicate across technology, operations and services departments regarding changes being made, and to get those stakeholders on board.
